RANDHURST VILLAGE STREET FEST RETURNS!
Saturday, September 11th, 1 to 5 pm

Band 7th Heaven Headlines

Retail and food vendors, local civic and charity groups

(Mount Prospect, IL, August 2021)  Randhurst Village is bringing back a community favorite event, Street Fest, which features local organizations, stores and restaurants as well as special entertainment and presentations for a day filled with family-friendly fun.  The free, one-of-a-kind outdoor event takes place Saturday, September 11th from 1 to 5 p.m.

The festive event is held on Randhurst Village Drive (between Hampton Inn and Suites to AMC Randhurst Theatre). The Drive will be closed to vehicular traffic during the event. Guests are invited to bring their own chairs to enjoy the live performances. Abundant, free parking is available in the enclosed garage near the AMC theatre.

Returning fan favorite band 7th Heaven and attractions including a beer/wine area, sponsored by Blackfinn Randhurst Grill and benefiting the Mount Prospect Lions Club are festival highlights. Adding to the fun are rides, inflatables, entertainment, vendor booths and community and civic charitable organization and food.

Street Fest will feature performances by multiple dance ensembles through the Mount Prospect Park District, followed by our headline band, 7th Heaven, taking the stage from 3 to 5 p.m.

The beloved band has charted #1 on the Midwest Billboard Charts three times. 7th Heaven’s songs have been heard on over 7 radio stations in Chicagoland with their hits “Time Of Our Lives”, “Stoplight”, "Better This Way" and "Sing". They are also known for the famous "30 Songs in 30 Minutes" medley of songs from the 70's and 80's and just released their new album “Be Here” earlier this summer. 7th Heaven will be performing at Street Fest starting at 3 p.m.

A special thank you to our Stage Sponsor, Randhurst Village’s delicious bakery, Nothing Bundt Cakes, for their continued support as well as our Beer Garden Sponsor Mueller Dante Homes.

Exhibits, demonstrations and food and beverage sales will be offered from Randhurst Village tenants. A variety of non-profit and civic organizations will be onsite providing information on their unique services and offering interactive activities for the whole family. These wonderful groups provide a wide variety of support and education for the needs of the local community including community care, education and grief support. Some of these organizations include: Lutheran Charities KARE-9 Military Dogs, Mount Prospect Public Library, Mount Prospect Historical Society, Clearbrook and NWSRA, Mount Prospect Fire and Police Department and much more.

Rounding out the day’s festivities will be favorite activities including bumper cars, Trackless Train, Fire Truck slide, games, and crafts for children of all ages.

Performance times, non-profit activities and event information on stores and restaurants are subject to change. Stay up to date by visiting randhurstvillage.com for more information or call the Randhurst Village office at 630-571-6450.
